No, you do not need a special driver's license. But a valid driver's license from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, or the European Union is required. If you have a driver's license from a region that isn't mentioned, you must have the words "driver's license" in English on your card. Permits for learners are not accepted.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

In Florida, you do not need to wear a helmet on a scooter. We do offer a broad range of helmet sizes available and are offered at no additional charge.
